Let me help you get to know me. I am Jafran Hasan and I work as a software engineer. I love to think, plan, study, and solve problems, and I love to travel just as much.

This blog is a reflection of my personal thoughts, experiences, and guides. I write from many perspectives: technology, philosophy, travel, and more.

I also love history, religion, and cultures, and those threads keep finding their way into what I write here.

a short timeline
  1. 2026started this notebook for the third time. third time's the keep.
  2. 2024shipped a small build tool that nobody asked for; about 800 people use it now.
  3. 2022left a big company to work on smaller things. learned how to send invoices.
  4. 2018first commit to anything that paid me money.
  5. 2011wrote my first program: a calculator that only did multiplication.
